For the first time, Tulsa Community College will offer its small business leadership academy courses in Spanish.
This will be the fifth Cox Small Business Leadership Academy hosted at TCC, but the first-ever cohort for Spanish-speaking small business owners.
The free 10-week program, set for the spring semester, aims to help Spanish-speaking small business owners learn more about operations, leadership and how to grow their business. Cox Communications funds the program and TCC Continuing Education administers it.
The program will accept 20 individuals who will learn how to manage cash, market their business online, negotiation skills, business strategy and more. You can apply online here before applications close Dec. 5.
Classes will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays starting Jan. 21 through April 1, 2026. The program will be hosted at the TCC Education Outreach Center in east Tulsa located at 2201 S. Garnett Road.
Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate and earn three continuing education units from TCC.
“Through our partnership with Cox Communications, we are equipping small business owners with the tools, strategies and confidence they need to grow their businesses and contribute to a stronger local economy,” Pete Selden, TCC Vice President of Workforce Development, said in a statement.
