Tulsa County Sheriff Vic Regalado told county commissioners Oct. 6 that this year’s Tulsa State Fair concluded without a single firearm incident — the first time in the fair’s history.
The fair ran from Sept. 25 through Oct. 5.
Regalado said deputies made 24 arrests, responded to 168 service calls, reunited 94 lost children with their families, filed 82 written reports and issued two citations.
“Not one single firearm or report of a firearm was made to our deputies,” Regalado said, calling the result a first in the event’s history.
