Commuters traveling along East Sixth Street from South Peoria Avenue to South Utica Avenue will see an assortment of new murals covering the walls of their favorite haunts.
More than a dozen local artists took part in Habit Mural Festival: Pearl Edition that started May 29, with some of them recently completing their work. Clean Hands started the state’s first mural festival in 2019 with a goal of enhancing Tulsa’s urban landscape with vibrant art.
Artists in this year’s festival included Aaron Whisner, Clean Hands, Tony Thunder, Logan Wright, Jared Rudichuk, Zuwae x Qumes, Mckenna Sanderson, Dan Rocky, Pyramid Guy, Lauren Leigh Studios, Ekwa, Hightail Creative, RUHEK, Jake Beeson, Reighe, RUWRKS, Logan Wright, NUER and SKER.
