Town hall at the Philbrook: Join Executive Editor Gary Lee, Food, Arts and Culture Editor Tim Landes, and other Flyer and Eagle staff June 16 for a free program where we’ll discuss navigating our changing local journalism landscape at Philbrook Art & Gardens, 2727 S. Rockford Road. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. and the program goes from noon to 1 p.m. Check out our Facebook event for additional information.
Food and resource festival: Flyer/Eagle staff will table at a Food on the Move festival from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 16 at Chamberlain Park, 4940 N. Frankfort Ave. Come learn about free resources available to community members and tell us which stories are important to you.
Juneteenth celebration: Oklahoma Eagle editor Elliot Terrell and other Eagle staff will be at this year’s Juneteenth Festival from 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at 500 N. Greenwood Ave. Registration is required to attend the free event.
