The final day of Tulsa Tough, the city’s premier three-day cycling festival, is arguably its most famous: Cry Baby Hall is part of a race loop with a steep vertical climb and a bobsled run of a downhill for cyclists. But it’s perhaps best known for the party atmosphere.

Cyclists and spectators alike weathered stormy weather to mark the event’s 20th year. The Flyer’s Joe Tomlinson was on the scene to interview folks about what makes the event special to both Tulsans and the competitors who come from around the globe to be part of it.
The Flyer’s Tim Landes was also on site for all three days of races, including Friday’s festivities in the Blue Dome District and Saturday’s races in the Arts District.
