It was a perfect spring evening for an outdoor concert Wednesday night at Guthrie Green, when world-renowned folk duo Gillian Welch and David Rawlings took the stage.

A nearly full moon rose over the public park and passed behind the BOK Tower as the duo played the only free concert on their U.S. tour in support of their Grammy Award-winning album “Woodland.”

Guthrie Green officials estimated more than 5,000 attended the concert, the first in this year’s Off the Cuff series. The next installment is Silkroad Ensemble featuring Rhiannon Giddens performing “Sanctuary: The Power of Resonance and Ritual” at 8 p.m. June 19.
