We’ve got the scoop on your weekend. Here’s the Flyer’s top five.

First Friday Art Crawl

6 to 9 p.m. Friday

It’s the first outdoor market of the year featuring more than 30 vendors. There’s also “Rhythm & Verse” that brings together local poets and musicians for a collaborative performance built on improvisation, rhythm and voice. The event features live music by Knipple with Jordan Hehl, Nicholas Foster, and Bishop Marsh. Poets include Madame Zeroni, Written Quincey, Kode Ransom and Claire Collins.

Leon Live! Annual Birthday Celebration

6:30 p.m. Friday

A bunch of local musicians come together at Cain’s Ballroom to celebrate the birthday of the late music icon Leon Russell in a performance of “Concert of Bangladesh,” plus a special set of the pianist’s greatest hits. 

Drillers opening series

7 p.m. Friday and Saturday

The Tulsa Drillers continue their opening weekend series against the San Antonio Missions. Look out for a fireworks show after Friday’s game. 

Andy B’s Egg Hunt and Adoption Event

8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday

Hunt for eggs, meet some incredible adoptable dogs and maybe even find your new best friend. 

Tiffany at Belafonte

7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Tiffany, the voice behind global smash hits like “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been,” is bringing her timeless pop energy to Belafonte in west Tulsa.
