Get ready for a third snow day, Tulsa. 

Tulsa, Union, Broken Arrow and Bixby Public Schools are among the districts that have extended winter weather closures into Wednesday, citing poor road conditions in the wake of Winter Storm Fern. Most metro school districts have been closed since Monday.

Public Schools 

Bixby Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for another distance learning day. All athletics, activities and practices are canceled. “Although main roads are much improved, many of our neighborhood streets and bus stop locations remain hazardous,” the district announcement reads, accompanied by a video of road conditions

Broken Arrow Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for a third traditional snow day. Nine- and 10-month employees should not report for duty, the district says, but 12-month staff should.

Catoosa Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for another day of distance learning.

Collinsville Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for distance learning.

Coweta Public Schools— Schools are closed Wednesday for distance learning.

Glenpool Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for another day of distance learning.

Jenks Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for a traditional snow day. All athletic events, academic activities and community education programs are canceled.

Owasso Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for another day of distance learning. “While the main roadways in Owasso are in great shape, many neighborhood streets and rural roads remain mostly covered in snow and ice,” the district announcement reads.

Sand Springs Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for a third traditional snow day.

Sapulpa Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday for distance learning.

Tulsa Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday, but district office sites are open as usual. All after school activities are canceled.

Union Public Schools — Schools are closed Wednesday, and all student activities canceled. The district says 12-month employees should report at regular times.

Private Schools

Augustine Christian Academy — School will be open Wednesday.

Bishop Kelley High School — School will start at 10 a.m. Wednesday with free dress. 

Cascia Hall Preparatory — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Holland Hall — School is in session Wednesday with the regular late start schedule. 

Little Light House — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Marquette Catholic School — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Metro Christian Academy — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Mingo Valley Christian — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Monte Cassino School — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Riverfield Country Day School — No closures announced for Wednesday.

San Miguel School of Tulsa — School is closed Wednesday and picture day will be rescheduled.

Victory Christian School — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Technical and Higher Education

NSU-Broken Arrow — All campuses are closed Wednesday.

Oral Roberts University — No closures announced for Wednesday. 

OSU-Tulsa — No closures announced for Wednesday.

OU-Tulsa — No closures announced for Wednesday.

The University of Tulsa — No closures announced for Wednesday.

Tulsa Community College — All classes are virtual Wednesday and campus buildings closed. All non-essential employees should work from home, TCC says.

Tulsa Tech — Campus is closed Wednesday.
