Peacemaker Lobster & Crab Co., 313 E. 2nd St. S., has closed after seven years of serving seafood on Second Street.

The restaurant’s social media pages have been deleted and the Tulsa location has been removed from the website, which still has two St. Louis restaurants featured. Multiple employees posted about the closure on their social media pages.

A note was taped to the front door Tuesday morning stating:

“Thank you for letting us be a part of the Tulsa community for the last seven years. While Peacemaker is closed, please consider supporting us by visiting La Tertulia next door.”

James Beard-winning chef Kevin Nashan started Peacemaker in St. Louis in 2014 before bringing the concept to Tulsa, opening with great fanfare in September 2018. Two years later, he opened New Mexican restaurant La Tertulia next door. The two concepts shared a kitchen.

Peacemaker’s closure marks the second downtown restaurant to shutter in the past two weeks. Isla’s Southern Kitchen closed Oct. 18.

After seven years in downtown Tulsa, Peacemaker Lobster & Crab Co., 313 E. 2nd St. S., closed its doors in October 2025.
