During their Oct. 7 meeting, members of Tulsa’s Asian Affairs Commission discussed the Stories of Asian Tulsa project. The initiative invites participants to record and share personal stories about their experiences in Tulsa. Each commissioner will go through the process themselves and then connect with one community member to help bridge generational gaps.

The goal is for all commissioners to complete the project by the next meeting, scheduled for noon Tuesday, Nov. 4. The committee is still exploring how to share the stories, with ideas including a public “story bank” or collaborations with local media.
