Every Thursday evening in October is loaded with fun activities for the whole family at Tulsa Botanic Garden, 3900 Tulsa Botanic Drive.

Bands and Blooms is a live music series held every fall Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. This week, it’s Character Connection Co.’s Rumi performing hit songs from “KPOP Demon Hunters.” On Oct. 29, it’s Hot Toast Music Co.’s turn on the microphone.

Thursdays in October are also home to Spooky Trail, when the garden stays open late for a lantern-lit, not-too-scary walk through the gardens. On Oct. 15, Jack Skellington and Sally from “A Nightmare Before Christmas” greeted visitors, and this week it’s Woody and Jessie from the “Toy Story” series. Bluey and Bingo will be on hand Oct. 29.

Both of these events are a part of BOOtanical, which also includes a hay maze, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and a scarecrow row featuring dozens of scarecrows built by local businesses, schools, scouts and families for the Scarecrow Challenge. Walk the row, pick a favorite and vote.
