Just over one month after re-opening in a new location, Wildflower Cafe has expanded its service with the opening of Chapel Coffee.

The popular brunch spot opened in September in MODE Tulsa, 913 S. Boulder Ave., in what used to be the chapel inside downtown’s former First Christian Church. The coffee bar is located in the sanctuary, which now also includes nine additional tables for diners, plus lots of seating for coffee customers. Both spaces are open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The restaurant has been very busy since opening, with rarely a time that the lobby has been empty. Owner Heather Linville said the addition of tables has helped reduce wait times, while Chapel Coffee is a draw for those who want to meet up with friends and sit in big, comfy chairs in a former church sanctuary and enjoy a cup of coffee — hot or iced — or a specialty drink.

Seasonal specials include a banana bread brew, coconut coffee with a caramel cold foam cloud, a pumpkin spice coffee and more.
