Cain’s Ballroom turned back the clock Friday with a night of two-step dancing to country tunes that called back to the early days of Tulsa’s timeless honky tonk.
The Tulsey Town Two-Step featured a super-special ‘90s country edition at Cain’s, made famous by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys hosting similar parties in the ‘30s.
Jacob Tovar served as emcee and played a full set of traditional country music. He was joined by Cassie Latshaw and DJ Many Mae, who spun 45 RPM vinyl country singles featuring hit songs from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
