First Friday Art Crawl
6 to 9 p.m. Friday

The monthly sidewalk art sale returns to the Arts District. At Guthrie Green, enjoy songs spun by DJ Doc Free as he hosts Record Club: Cookout Edition, a celebration of the records that define the American summer. 

Agalisiga Mackey at Palomino Books & Music
7 p.m. Friday

The Cherokee folk singer hosts the first concert performance inside his and wife Paloma Lopez’s bookstore and listening room in Tulsa’s Kendall-Whittier District. The new hotspot for Indigenous culture opened Wednesday. 

Firecracker 5K
7:30 a.m. Saturday

One of Tulsa’s oldest races and the largest summertime 5K features a downtown course and a great after party with live music, food and beer for those 21 and older.

Boomfest at the Riverwalk
4 to 10 p.m. Saturday

The Jenks celebration features live music, vendors, food, sidewalk chalk and more fun before fireworks light up the night sky. The Oklahoma Aquarium will offer exhibits to view ahead of the fireworks show, which begins between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. Paid parking is available nearby, including at Tulsa Premium Outlets. 

FreedomFest
6 to 10 p.m. Saturday

Organizers promise it’s the biggest fireworks display yet over the Arkansas River as Tulsa celebrates America 250th at River West Festival Park. Admission is free, and parking is $20 per vehicle via credit card.
