From community parks to local churches, we rounded up some free and affordable photo opportunities, festivals and egg hunts to have on your radar.

If you’re looking for pictures with the Easter bunny, spring décor, treats, crafts or gifts, the Easter Vendors Market might be for you. There will be more than 50 vendors and a free arcade.

Downtown River District

Don’t miss the Easter Fun Day in downtown Bixby, which includes a candy drop at 11 a.m., a petting zoo with pony rides, face painting, bounce houses, photos with the Easter bunny, food trucks and other local vendors.

Chandler Park

There will be more than 30,000 eggs at the Spring Carnival Eggstravaganza for children 12 years old and younger. The hunts start at 1 p.m. and are broken up by age. You do have to register to participate here.  

Families can play games, do crafts and STEM activities together and visit local artist booths and food trucks.  

Eastside Rise

With more than 15,000 eggs, families with children 12 years old and younger can hunt for eggs, take photos with the Easter bunny and get their face painted at east Tulsa’s Hannah Hall. Egg hunts are scattered by age and begin at 11 a.m.

You can take a free photo with the Easter bunny at Bass Pro Shop between March 28 and April 4. Photo opportunities are at various times throughout the week.

  • Saturdays and Good Friday, April 3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 29: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, March 30, through Thursday, April 2: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Easter Sunday, April 5: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tulsa Parks

Tulsa Parks hosts six different Easter egg hunt opportunities for all people and pets. You can register for any of their events on the Tulsa Parks website.

Owen Park, at 560 N. Maybelle Ave., will have their Spring Fling Egg Hunt for children aged 3-10 years old from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 28. There will also be games and crafts. Register here.

There will be more than 1,000 eggs stuffed with dog treats for the Dog Egg Hunt from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at Reed Park (4233 S. Yukon Ave.). For $10, your pet can get a nail trim by PAWDICURE. There will also be at least 50 eggs with tickets for a dog-themed gift. The egg hunt begins at 3 p.m. Register here.

Also at Reed Park, there will be an egg hunt for children 12 years old and younger at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2. There will also be games and crafts. Register here

And if you’re wanting another dog-friendly Easter activity, the PAWS Egg Hunt will be from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11 at Whiteside Park, 4009 S. Pittsburg Ave. Register here

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place for kids 3-12 years old at Lacy Park, 2134 N. Madison Place, Saturday, April 4 from noon to 1p.m. with hotdogs and a jupiter jump. Register here

The Eggcessible Egg Hunt is open for infants, children and pre-teens with special needs. They will also have sensory-friendly areas and a playground open for all. Register here.  

Transformation Church

At downtown Tulsa’s own Guthrie Green, Transformation Church is hosting their Easter Eggstravaganza for all ages. There will be music, food, prizes and an egg hunt.

Tulsa Drillers Baseball
Saturday, April 4 | 5:30 p.m. | ONEOK Field, 201 N. Elgin Ave. | More info

If you’ve already got tickets to the Drillers vs. Missions game, you might be in for an extra family treat. Tulsa Drillers Baseball is filling the field with 15,000 eggs for children 14 years old and younger. Children 5 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. 

Tickets range from $10 to $28, but children 3 years old and younger get in for free. You can start lining up at Section 101 when gates open at 5:30 p.m. The egg hunt will start 20 to 30 minutes after that. 

World Outreach Church

The Easter Fun Bash is free for all families. There will be an egg run as well as bounce houses and face painting. You can also RSVP and be entered into the cash, prize and bike giveaways. 

Osage Hills Christian Church

Families with children 12 years old and younger can join an egg hunt, bounce house, face painting, cotton candy and prizes at The Common Good and Osage Hills Easter Eggstravaganza. There will also be bicycle giveaways and lunch.

Tulsa Zoo

For $10 or less, families do crafts for some animals at the Tulsa Zoo, hear stories and take pictures with the Easter Bunny at Spring with the Bunny. Tickets for members are $5 and $10 for non-members. Children younger than 1 year old can enter for free. 

Oklahoma Aquarium

Hop over to the OKAQ Bunny Trail for a day of egg-citing fun. Snap a pic with the Easter bunny, collect candy and treats, enjoy free face painting and dance to live music from DJ Majda. The event is free for members or included with daily admission. Children 3 and under enter for free.

Easter Fest, Sand Springs

There will be a free egg hunt for children, but other paid activities will cost $30 per kid, which includes crafts, face painting, a stuffed animal and more. Adults 21 years old and older can pay $10 for an Easter egg hunt of their own. 

Tulsa Dream Center
