Cats may have nine lives, but dogs only have one.

It’s time to grab the leash and bring your dog along for your adventures.

Tulsa has a variety of breweries, parks and restaurant patios ready to accommodate even the furriest of family members. The Flyer rounded up nine options for a day out with your dog.

Tulsa-area parks and trails

Dogs must be on a leash in all city and county parks unless in a designated off-leash area. The same goes for Tulsa River Parks, Turkey Mountain and all other trails.

Restaurant and patios

Most restaurants and bars that feature a patio are also dog-friendly, but it’s best to check in with the eatery to make sure before you bring your pup on a leash to join you.

11 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays to Tuesdays; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays; closed on Sundays

Elote Cafe is one of the only Tulsa restaurants with a dish made specifically for your dog. The patio is dog-friendly and you can order your dog a “doggie bowl” to receive a mix of chicken and rice on a frisbee for $4.99.

It’s the perfect place to grab a snack before heading to the dog park to play catch with your dog’s new frisbee.
