Local country rockers Keyland headlined a Friday night show at Mercury Lounge Jan. 9 with Austin-based musician Scott Ballew in support. 

Keyland is led by songwriter/singer/guitarist Kyle Ross. In October, the Tulsa-based band — self-described as music for folks at “the center of the Venn diagram of beer-drinkers & NPR advocates” — released a six-song EP. Keep up with the band here. 

Ballew, a filmmaker and alt-country artist, put out his fourth album in December. Follow his work here. 

Mercury Lounge hosts live music seven days a week with shows starting at happy hour Friday and Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. Check out the calendar for upcoming shows.
