The Tulsa County Election Board announced Monday it will host four early voting sites for the Nov. 3 general election — an increase from the typical two offered during previous election cycles, including most recently on Aug. 25.
Here’s where the four sites will be:
- Tulsa County Election Board headquarters at 12000 East Skelly Drive
- Tulsa Technology Center Broken Arrow at 4000 West Florence St.
- O’Brien Park Community Center at 6149 North Lewis Ave.
- Chandler Park Community Center at 6500 West 21st St.
“With these additional sites we are making available early voting sites in the north, south, east and west quadrants of Tulsa County to better serve our voters,” Gwen Freeman, secretary of the election board, said Monday.
Early voting will take place over four days beginning Oct. 28 and ending Oct. 31. Early voting times are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the first three days, then 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Election Day is Nov. 3.
The Tulsa County Election Board moved its headquarters to east Tulsa in March after officials said they outgrew the old facility just north of downtown.
Advocates in north Tulsa had pushed for an additional early voting site ahead of the Aug. 25 election. County officials declined, saying they had historically provided two locations for large elections.
The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 3 election, which will feature federal and state races as well as a runoff for Tulsa City Council District 1, is Oct. 9.
