June Pride was back this weekend in downtown Tulsa with the first ever Elote Pride Festival.
Elote Cafe owner Libby Billings organized the inaugural, weekend-long celebration along South Boston Avenue. It’s the first time in several years downtown Tulsa has hosted June Pride after Oklahomans for Equality moved the official events to October to escape the summer heat.
The festival featured a vibrant lineup of events, from a drag brunch and variety show to a taco-eating contest and dog parade. Scroll through the gallery to see scenes from the event captured by the Tulsa Flyer.
