Despite being closed for 38 days this spring due to flooding, the city-owned Mohawk Park Golf Course is projected to generate $5.6 million in revenue this fiscal year without raising its rates.
Operator Nick Sidorakis said revenue is up from $3.9 million the previous year and that all revenue categories have increased by at least 25%, including shop sales and rounds played.
During a June 9 Tulsa Parks and Recreation Board meeting, Sidorakis said net income has increased by 400% since Sidorakis Golf LLC took over operations in April 2025. The company has invested $2.2 million in capital improvements during that time, including new golf carts, sod and equipment. Despite the flooding, Sidorakis said his long-term goal is to do a $12 to $14 million renovation at Mohawk Golf Course.
Anna America, director of Tulsa Parks, Culture and Recreation, confirmed the department has received positive feedback about the course under Sidorakis’ leadership.
“The attitude has absolutely been sort of to provide this, like, country club experience in a way, but making it accessible to everybody,” said America.
