We don’t believe in reporting the news from our desks. Led by Community Journalism Director Lexi Goodnough, our staff are on the ground, meeting residents where they live, work and play.

Here is where you can find us the week of March 23-27. Got an idea of where we should head next? Email us at lexi@tulsaflyer.org about how we can connect with your community.

Connect with resources: We’re tabling at two Food on the Move Community Resource Festivals this week. We’ll be at the Common Good NW Hub, 19 S. 49th West Ave, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 24. You can find us at TCC NE Campus, 3727 E. Apache St. from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 26.

Join the Flyer Book Club: Led by food, arts and culture editor Tim Landes, we’ll bring together Tulsans to discuss “Crazy Brave” by Joy Harjo from 6 to 7 p.m. March 24 at 101 E. Archer St. Find all the details here.

Out in the community: On March 24, staff from the Flyer and Eagle will connect with community members at Pathways Adult Learning Center, 4102 E. 61st St. The center empowers adults with intellectual disabilities by providing lifelong learning opportunities.
