Tulsans will have the opportunity to engage with local law enforcement and grab some free toys for their children during a holiday Christmas event happening this weekend.

The Council for Safe Neighbors Foundation will host the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2434 E. Admiral Place Blvd. The event is free and open to the public.

The Council for Safe Neighbors Foundation aims to help people connect more with law enforcement. The foundation includes police officers, sheriff’s deputies and firefighters. 

The event will provide one free toy per child in attendance. Free food will also be available. Tulsa Fire and Tulsa Police departments will both be in attendance.
