“Channeling our Ancestors”

6:30 p.m. Friday

Coinciding with Native American Heritage Month, the original production at the Tulsa PAC explores identity, cultural appropriation, intergenerational connections and how heritage and tradition continue to shape modern Indigenous life. Presented through a series of comedic sketches inspired by familiar TV show formats, the performance offers both humor and insight into what it means to be Indigenous in today’s world.

Art Market After Dark

6 p.m. Friday

Guthrie Green hosts its largest vendor market of the year as part of the First Friday Art Crawl. There will be music from DJ Doc Free and The Links along with live art demonstrations, including from VNICE — a muralist recently featured in the Flyer.

Riverbend Arts District Studio Tour 

Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday

Taking place in the Riverbend Arts District, Tulsa’s newest arts and cultural district, the festival is a free, all-ages event, featuring art studio tours, art demonstrations, food trucks and more along a 1.5 mile stretch of Charles Page Boulevard. 

12th Annual Rock-N-Folk-N-Chili Cook Off

5:30 p.m. Saturday

More than 20 local musicians will take the stage at Cain’s as part of the annual fundraiser for the nonprofit Horton Records. Proceeds from the all-ages, family-friendly event support Oklahoma musicians and music projects. Read our Q&A with Brian Horton about the annual event and the label’s upcoming 20-year anniversary. 

Earl Hazard’s B-Day Sneaker Soirée

8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday

Dress to impress with your favorite sneakers and head to Belafonte in west Tulsa for an evening of live music, including performances from Petty Fox, Damian Shade and Earl Hazard.
