Johnny Mullenax is in the midst of a globe-spanning tour, but he didn’t let that stop him from playing his signature noon Bluegrass Brunch show at Mercury Lounge June 28.
The Tulsa-based country-blues-rocker recently played in Wisconsin and Illinois before coming home for the gig. This week, he’s flying to Spain for a run of shows before returning stateside for an Arkansas concert, then it’s back to the Merc for another Bluegrass Brunch July 12.
Mullenax is touring in support of his new album “This Joint’s For You Too,” which features all the songs from his latest EP, plus some songs from his previous two EPs.
