We don’t believe in reporting the news from our desks. Led by Community Journalism Director Lexi Goodnough, our staff are on the ground, meeting residents where they live, work and play.

Here is where you can find us the week of May 18-22. Got an idea of where we should head next? Email us at lexi@tulsaflyer.org about how we can connect with your community.

Food and resource festival: Flyer/Eagle staff will table at a Food on the Move festival from 5:30 to 7 p.m. May 19 at Chamberlain Park, 4940 N. Frankfort Ave. Come learn about free resources available to community members and tell us which stories are important to you.

Connect with youth: Several Flyer/Eagle staff members will join the 5th grade classes at Anderson Elementary May 19 to talk about journalism as a future career path and hear what matters most to our youth.
