Tulsa’s nine-member supergroup Count Tutu headlined a free concert at Guthrie Green Saturday, April 18.

Led by Branjae Jackson and Nathan Wright, the band brings together bass, drums, guitar, horns and powerful vocals.

Count Tutu is influenced by Nigerian Afrobeats and is known for creating grooves to captivating R&B and funk beats that address community and social issues.

Guthrie Green has a loaded events calendar. We recently spoke with Scott Bell, the creative production manager who oversees all the free, family-friendly events.
