FC Tulsa raised the 2025 Western Conference Championship trophy Saturday night after a 3-0 win against New Mexico United. It’s their first piece of hardware in the club’s 10-year history.

Forward Taylor Calheira scored two of the night’s goals in front of another record-breaking crowd at ONEOK Field.

“It’s been a great week,” said Calheira. “I’m so thankful for everyone and glory to God. We’ve worked so hard for this season, and today it paid off. We keep going — we have one more game left.”

It’s been somewhat of a Cinderella season for the Scissortails after missing the playoffs last season. The club’s ethos fed off its underdog status, despite stacking enough wins to finish first in the western conference. Come Saturday morning, FC Tulsa hopes the glass slipper fits.

“From day one, we wanted to be a team that could beat anyone — and staying consistent, week by week, is what’s gotten us to where we want to go,” said Luke Spencer, head coach.

FC Tulsa hosts Pittsburg Riverhounds SC Saturday for the USL Championship Final. The game starts at 11 a.m. at ONEOK Field.

Another sellout crowd is expected. Buy your tickets at www.fctulsa.com/single-match-tickets or call 918-727-2231.
