Tulsa City-County Library has released its most popular checked out books for 2025. 

Here are the top titles of the year:

Adult fiction: 

  1. “The Women” by Kristin Hannah 
  2. “All the Colors of the Dark” by Chris Whitaker
  3. “First Lie Wins” by Ashley Elston

Believe it or not, Tulsans are still checking out CDs and DVDs. The top two CDs from the year were the “Wicked” soundtrack and “Lover” by Taylor Swift. In the film section, “Twisters” and “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” led the way.
