We don’t believe in reporting the news from our desks. Led by Community Journalism Director Lexi Goodnough, our staff are on the ground, meeting residents where they live, work and play.

Here is where you can find us the week of Oct. 20-25. Got an idea of where we should head next? Email us at lexi@tulsaflyer.org about how we can connect with your community.

Connect with resources: We’re tabling at the Food on the Move Community Resource Festival at Chamberlain Park, 4940 N. Frankfort Ave., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21.

Meet the newsroom downtown: Join us for a cup of joe and a meet-and-greet with Flyer and Eagle staff from 8 to 9 a.m. Friday at Coracle Coffee, 314 S. Cincinnati Ave. Tell us what stories we’re missing and which ones we should be telling.

Free fall carnival: We’re joining the Tulsa Dream Center, 200 W. 46th St. N., for its annual Super Fall Carnival, featuring rides, food and games for families in north Tulsa. Stop by our table between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to tell which community members we should feature or challenges you’re facing in Tulsa.
