General Assignment Reporter, Tulsa Flyer
What I do here
As a general assignment reporter, the name of the game is flexibility and versatility. From government grumbles to the Golden Driller and everything in between — I cover anything and everything Tulsa.
My Background
I am a Tulsa native and a proud graduate of THE Booker T. Washington High School. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December 2021. I then spent nearly three years covering the city of Edmond with NonDoc Media as a Report for America corps member. After a stint in Columbus covering the Ohio statehouse with Hannah News, I came back home to report on my hometown.
Where can you find me in Tulsa?
I can be found playing soccer at SoccerCity or grabbing a beer at American Solera. Folks can also find me writing and downing coffees at Chimera or Shades of Brown. Others may find me glued to a TV during an Oklahoma City Thunder game.
Journalistic ethics
In journalism, we need straight shooters. I take it as a privilege to be able to tell Tulsa’s stories in an accurate, fair and transparent manner.
